On December 21st, the fifth content update for Pump It Up: Phoenix was released. The update brings five new songs to the game, including another long awaited crossover from Pump It Up: M. To initiate the update, the machine must be connected to the Internet. Once connected, the file will be downloaded automatically and the update will be processed when the machine is rebooted. Version 1.04 must be installed before installing version 1.05.

1.) Online matching has been added. The PASS command is not applied to online matching.
2.) The following BGAs have been partially modified:

3.) BGAs have been added for the following song:

4.) J Music titles for some songs have be fixed.
5.) A gimmick for Move That Body! (Full Song) D19 has been fixed.
6.) The step maker for Maria S18 has been fixed.
7.) The color of some titles has changed:
- PIU Guardian
- PIU Supporter
8.) Several new titles have been added. These titles are awarded under special circumstances:
- PIU Artist
- PIU Stepmaker
- PIU Staff
9.) Fixes the phenomenon where TOP 100 does not output normally from OVER LV. 20 RANKING.
* In addition, there will be a modification of PUPA S23 and D25 in content version 1.06. This change will affect some BPM changes.
